In 2011, writer and filmmaker Andrew John Rainnie quit his life in London to realise a dream of travelling around the world. When he returned, he gathered his travel journals and published them in a moving, hilarious, yet often sobering account of life as a solo backpacker.
Fifteen years later, he returned to the notes he had gathered on that life-changing adventure and republished them. In this retrospective edition, he looks back on the travel blog that he kept, reminiscing over his adventures while offering insights into the highs and lows of backpacking.
